Greet our passionate guides in the heart of Wellington and start your tour to some famous movie locations and stunning views of the capital. We treat you to our Lord of the Rings-themed lunch at one of our favorite cafés. With FREE WiFi you can share your favorite movie moments and characters with fellow travelers and friends at home. After a refreshing break, our journey continues to the enchanting Kaitoke Regional Forest Park, home to the mystical forest of Rivendell. After discovering some stunning New Zealand rainforest locations and the the beautiful steam where trout and native birdlife can be observed we visit some more urban gardens use by Peter. You will visit the Gardens of Isengard, where Gandalf’s fateful meeting with Saruman took place, and the Ents launched their assault on Orthanc. You’ll also glimpse the haunting site of the Orcs’ Chant, and the destruction of the gardens of Isengard.
After the morning touring, guests enjoy a hearty hobbit themed lunch feast before we explore more film locations in our beautiful region. Enjoy tranquil ancient native forest and wildlife all around.
