Join an included full day drive to the Coromandel Peninsula today in our coach.

Coromandel Peninsula is known for its spectacular coast, the beautiful beaches and rugged volcanic hills that rise above sticking out of the rainforest. Leaving Auckland 6.30am, we travel for a few hours before a coffee break at the scenic town of Thames.

Weather permitting, we travel to Hot Water Beach where you can dig your own natural hot pool metres from the Pacific Ocean.

We travel to the town of Whitianga for a relaxing lunch break. Unfortunately due to weather our Cathedral Cove boat cruises have been cancelled so we will continue on to the town of Coromandel and visit Driving Creek Railway.  At 1.30pm, guests wanting to join the scenic 1 hour 15 minute train journey into the forest will be rewarded at the end with spectacular views.

Embark on a truly unique 1 hour 15 minute railway tour on New Zealand’s only mountain railway. Journey across ten impressive bridges and through three tunnels in a hand-planted regenerating native forest and haven for rare native species, to arrive at EyeFull Tower and take in the spectacular views across the Hauraki Gulf and its islands.

A last break at Coromandel town. Here we can walk on part of the Kauri Block Walk, where we have views over both the town and sea before our long drive back to Auckland, arriving approximately 6-630pm
