Wake up to an island adventure, exploring the land and the sea. Nukubati have a range of complimentary activities on the beach including stand up paddle-boards and kayaks. Nukubati Private Island have a couple of lovely short bush walks around the island and up to our lookout for breathtaking views.
While on Nukubati you will have the opportunity to learn about and experience the culture of our community. All of us on the island are Fijian and takes great pride in sharing their lives and traditions. Nukubati is more than happy to have you visit the villages and attend church services.
Nukubati offers many activities on the island that will introduce you to the Fijian Culture. Learn about the traditional medicines, about reliance on the coconut tree, about how they hunt, gather and cook their food.
The bures sit just metres from the beach, giving you a full view of Nukubati’s spectacular sunsets.
Traditionally designed, the rooms are louvred, light and airy, and are decorated in an elegant island style focusing on the simple creature comforts. The rooms are situated to take advantage of the cool sea breezes and, in keeping with Nukubati’s carbon negative manifesto, are not airconditioned.
With no telephones or TVs to distract you, your attention turns to the surrounding pristine environment where you can disconnect to reconnect.

Transfers:
From Nadi International Airport, Nukubati Island is a 40-minute domestic flight to Fiji’s northern capital town, Labasa, and then a one-hour drive through coconut plantations, rice fields and Fijian villages to Nukubati’s jetty, followed by a 5-minute boat ride to the island. * Airfares are not included.
