Nitmiluk Gorge is 30 minute drive along a sealed road from Katherine Township. Sit back and relax as the tranquil surroundings transport you into a spiritual world of the Jawoyn culture and history. Discover the stories and ways of the Jawoyn people against the magnificent backdrop of the Nitmiluk Gorge, changing colour with the setting sun. Be prepared for a 400 m long walk between the gorges. Enjoy a three course candlelight dinner, featuring fresh, local Australian produce cooked on board with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Discover the stories and ways of the Jawoyn people against the magnificent backdrop of the Nitmiluk Gorge, changing colour with the setting sun, and concluding with the shimmering of the stars and the moon. From group celebrations to intimate getaways, the cruise has its own chef and wait staff, so you  won’t have to worry about moving from the comfort of your seat as all your food and beverage needs are taken care of.

The Tour includes a three course candlelit dinner, featuring fresh, local Australian produce cooked by one of our chefs on board, accompanied by a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

Nitmiluk Tours is a successful 100% wholly owned and operated Indigenous Tourism Operation within Nitmiluk National Park and is the exclusive provider for touring the breathtaking Nitmiluk Gorge, located approximately 320km South of Darwin Northern Territory, Australia. What to bring: Hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and protective clothing. What to wear: Appropriate footwear. Conditions: Those with mobility issues are welcome to stay at the crossover, as we do not recommend participating on this tour. This tour is subject to weather and river conditions and will operate with a minimum of 12 passengers. Allocated seating will be up to 6 persons per table. This tour is not suitable for children under 5 years of age. Tour charges vary based on age. Children from 6 to 15 are charged as per child rates. Those above 16 years are charged under adult rates.
