, Australia

From Broome to the Bungle Bungles, uncover the Kimberley’s rugged beauty, Aboriginal heritage, and tranquil swimming holes on a fully guided camping adventure across one of Australia’s last frontiers.

Overview

Begin in Broome, then travel the Great Northern Highway and the iconic Gibb River Road, stepping through time along the ancient Devonian reef systems of Bandilngan (Windjana Gorge) and Dimalurru (Tunnel Creek). You’ll walk beneath boab trees, cross rugged ranges and camp beneath a billion stars,  all while being guided by a locally-owned team who know every gorge, pool and story of this land.
Your journey continues east through the Kimberley’s heart: the Cockburn Ranges, Pentecost River, Home Valley Station, the luxury wilderness of El Questro, Kununurra and then the World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles). You’ll swim in natural rock pools, soak in thermal springs, view ancient Aboriginal art, and return via the Great Northern Highway, finishing beside a billabong at a working cattle station before your final arrival back in Broome. This tour is carefully crafted for comfort and immersion: small groups (maximum 16), two experienced guides, permanent tents on most nights, all meals and park fees included. It’s not just a safari — it’s an intimate wilderness odyssey.
