The Koromiko Tour invites travellers to explore the diverse landscapes and stories of New Zealand’s North Island over eleven days. Beginning in Auckland, the journey quickly moves north to the Bay of Islands, a subtropical haven rich in natural beauty and Māori heritage. At Waitangi Treaty Grounds the nation’s founding history is brought vividly to life, while options to travel to Cape Reinga or cruise through the Hole in the Rock reveal the region’s coastal grandeur.
From Auckland the route winds east to the Coromandel Peninsula, where scenic drives, historic railways and golden beaches showcase the relaxed spirit of coastal New Zealand. Rotorua follows, offering a deep dive into geothermal wonders and Māori culture, with time to walk through steaming valleys, witness traditional performances and even visit the famous Hobbiton film set. Further south the journey pauses at Lake Taupō and Huka Falls before reaching Napier, celebrated for its Art Deco architecture and wine country hospitality.
The final days highlight Wellington, New Zealand’s creative capital, framed by Parliament’s striking architecture, hillside views from the cable car and the world-class Te Papa museum. Throughout, knowledgeable guides provide context and warmth, weaving together natural attractions, cultural encounters and stories that make each stop meaningful. Concluding in Wellington, the Koromiko Tour leaves travellers with lasting impressions of landscapes, history and connections across the North Island.

Dynamic Pricing
Many of our accommodation providers and local suppliers use dynamic pricing models, which means prices fluctuate depending on factors such as demand, travel seasons, and availability.
Our listed “from” prices represent the lowest available rates based on low season travel with full availability. When you request a quote for your preferred travel dates, we’ll provide an accurate, up-to-date price based on availability at the time of quoting.
Prices may vary between the time we provide a quote and when you confirm your booking. Should there be any price differences, we will notify you before final confirmation and payment.
Itinerary Order & Availability
The order of your itinerary, including accommodation, tours, and transport, may be adjusted to secure the best availability and ensure a smooth travel experience. While we strive to follow the proposed itinerary as closely as possible, changes may be necessary, particularly during peak travel periods or when bookings are made close to your departure date.
For bookings made well in advance and outside of peak seasons, itinerary changes are uncommon. Any adjustments will be communicated to you in advance and are made with the aim of maintaining or improving the overall experience.
The final itinerary—including the order of your activities and accommodations—will be confirmed after your booking is secured.
